The cosy double bedroom (with a super king bed which converts to twins if required) has hanging space, TV and bedsides and is adjacent to the ensuite shower room. The shower room can also be accessed directly from the living space, great for guests using the double sofa bed.
The Avenue Corner is less than 10 minutes comfortable walk from the main shopping streets including the Market Place, High Street and Millennium Square. The accommodation is similarly close to numerous cafes, bars and restaurants. We recommend Flat White Kitchen, Finbarrs and Zen. Only 3-4 minutes walk away you will find Tesco express, Sainsbury’s local and Robinson’s independent greengrocer. Less than 10 minutes walk to Durham railway station and Market Place. It is less than 15 minutes comfortable walk to Durham Cathedral, Castle and Palace Green. There is on street permit parking available. We provide a daily permit for the duration of your stay. We are ideally located to explore Durham City and the wider North East region including the Durham Dales, the Heritage Coast, Newcastle and Gateshead.
