Description

A stunning 3 bedroomed cottage close to Durham City. Ideal location for transport links to the A1 and A167. Situated next to many eateries which will make the kids and adults happy, including KFC, Burger King, Domino’s, McDonald’s, Subway and Greggs.  There’s a Costa coffee and Starbucks for all you coffee lovers and there is also a gym if your feeling energetic. The cottage is close to the local attractions of Durham including the Botanical Gardens, Durham Cathedral and Castle. Why not try out the rowing boats on the river and then enjoy a cold drink in the bars close by.  Lane 7 the bowling alley and the Odeon Luxe Cinema along with lots of bars and restaurants are all in Durham and are very popular with our guests. In the nearest town of Spennymoor just a mile or so away you will find four supermarkets and also a leisure centre with swimming pool alongside pubs and restaurants. If you are looking for a totally relaxing staycation and want to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the City Centre, then the Pub and Kitchen in Cassop is great value for money and is only a short distance away.

On entry is the lounge area which includes a flatscreen TV, two large sofas, a coffee table and a log burn fire which guests can use. The kitchen follows and includes all the essentials you will need during your stay including utensils, toaster, microwave, washing machine, a fridge and a freezer. There is also a dining area in the kitchen that has space for four people. The kitchen also has a door which can be used to access the outside area.

The property comprises of two double bedrooms and a twin bedroom. Each bedroom has ample storage for your clothes and belongings for the duration of your stay. The twin bedroom also benefits from having a desk which can be used as a dressing table or a work space should you require it.

The family bathroom includes a bath and a separate shower.

The outdoor area is a credit to the property as it includes a hot tub that will fit all guests and has a variety of outdoor furniture for guests to use in the summer evenings.

There is ample off street parking at this property.
