The cottage is close to the local attractions of Durham including the Botanical Gardens, Durham Cathedral and Castle. Why not try out the rowing boats on the river and then enjoy a cold drink in the bars close by. Lane 7 the bowling alley and the Odeon Luxe Cinema along with lots of bars and restaurants are all in Durham and are very popular with our guests. In the nearest town of Spennymoor just a mile or so away you will find four supermarkets and also a leisure centre with swimming pool alongside pubs and restaurants. If you are looking for a totally relaxing staycation and want to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the City Centre, then the Pub and Kitchen in Cassop is great value for money and is only a short distance away.

The kitchen follows and includes all the essentials you will need during your stay including utensils, toaster, microwave, washing machine, a fridge and a freezer. There is also a dining area in the kitchen that has space for four people. The kitchen also has a door which can be used to access the outside area.
