Description

The Grange is a contemporary, chic, 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment on the second floor of a development in Gilesgate, a 25-minute walk from the heart of Durham City Centre. The location is perfect for groups, families, couples, and professionals working in the city centre with local bars and restaurants just a two-minute walk away.

On entry there is a hallway with a door to the left leading to a large open plan lounge, kitchen/diner with lots of space for guests to enjoy meals together and relax and amenities such as a fridge, freezer, washing machine, clothes airer in the kitchen and a flat screen TV, a three-seater sofa and two one seater chairs in the lounge.

Off from the lounge is a twin bedroom, which can be converted into a double bed on request, which includes a TV and a single wardrobe to store your clothes for the duration of your stay. The master bedroom is at the end of the hallway which is a large and modern space with double bed, which can be converted into twin beds on request, and includes a TV and a double wardrobe. The master bedroom also benefits from an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower.

The main bathroom includes both a bath and an over bath shower.

In the hallway are two large cupboards giving plenty of space for guests to store coats and shoes etc..

There are supermarkets such as Tesco and Aldi within easy walking distance as well as some fantastic pubs on the doorstep such as The Laundrette, The Hop Knocker, The Queens, and The Shoes. There are takeaways close by with Bells Fish and Chip shop minutes’ walk from the front door, an Indian takeaway, and Papa John’s Pizzeria directly opposite. There is also a bus stop just outside the apartment with busses going into the city and up to the Arnison shopping centre every 10 minutes.

The Grange offers secure off-road parking. Please note only one parking space will be allocated.
